Street Fighter Athlete Sets New Guinness World Record

Zak Bennett Beats 108 People in a Row in less than 4 hours

London, England– 23rd February– Guinness World Records confirmed today that UK’s premier Street Fighter player Zak Bennett has broken into the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition for the most consecutive wins on Street Fighter™ IV - with a whopping 108 wins unbeaten.

The successful record attempt took place in London on Friday afternoon. Official Guinness World Records representatives were present to adjudicate the feat, which is now shortlisted for inclusion in next year’s Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition.

Challenger Hatim Habashi beat Bennett after 28 consecutive wins, but in his second record attempt Bennett raised his game and managed to defeat 108 challengers in succession.

Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, Craig Glenday, said:“We congratulate Zak on his extraordinary achievement and welcome him into the Guinness World Records family. It’s always great to see gamers showcase their talent while making a mark in the record books.”
